I'm talking hobbies - how important they are at this stage in life, the flow state and relaxation they can provide, as well as what "can" or "can't" be considered a hobby. I also unearth an interesting correlation to the historical use of the word. I share my experiences with a peloton bike, and talk a bit about what board games mean to me.
Having downtime recently has allowed me to explore some hobbies. I talk about that journey, learning and working on not being afraid to try new things, to stop doing new things, and to put things on the back burner for later. Do hobbies have to be productive? Can they be passive? I look up the definition and explore the use of the word over the years.
I discuss my activity challenge during the start of October and how that will go while away overseas.
Something I've noticed is I haven't been writing as much as I used to and I attribute that to being around less people and having less social expriences of late - it's also changed my memory.
No more Mac n' Cheese.

This Episodes recommendation is to, of course, find a hobby
